Did you know that 50% of women suffer from recurrent vaginal yeast infections each year with each reoccurrence the symptoms get progressively worse? Why does this happen? It is believed that many of these women do not know how to treat their yeast infections naturally. Rather than simply treating the symptoms natural treatments will actually fix the underlying cause of the problem.
Let’s take a more in depth look at two specific natural remedies. The first option that we are going to look at is natural or organic pro-biotic yogurt and the second option is Sodium Chlorite which is an anti-microbial rinse. Both of these treatments are equally effective and easy to use. They are also low cost options and can easily be found in your local grocery stores.
Yogurt Yogurt is a great choice for treatment because of how simple it is to use. Some women enjoy the yeast infection fighting benefits simply by eating it daily. Others prefer the more direct approach and will apply it to the affect areas both internally and externally. This use has another benefit as when applied to the skin cools and soothes. Either approach has positive results.
Sodium Chlorite The next treatment option that we will be discussing is the use of Sodium Chlorite as an external wash. This can have positive results in a matter of hours. To make a rinse: The first thing that you will need to do is mix 6 drops of Sodium Chlorite and 1 tablespoon of organic unfiltered apple cider vinegar together and let it stand for five minutes. Now add one cup of distilled water to the mixture. Wash the vaginal area and any surrounding area that is also irritated. Following the treatment you should also apply the yogurt as stated above.
The natural home treatment methods that we have listed here should clear up your infection anywhere between 12 hours up to three days depending on how severe your infection is.
